The Granville Female College was a historical women's college located in Granville, Ohio, United States. It was established in 1838 and closed in 1898. In 1867, the name of the Institution was changed to Granville Female College, the course of study was enlarged. In 1923, John Sutphin Jones, a coal and railroad magnate, commissioned the construction of the Granville Inn, a historic English manor inn in the Jacobethan Revival style on the site of the Granville Female College.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Granville Inn History )〕 ==References==
